What to expect at your appointment
If you’re thinking about coming along to Amanda Pierce Aesthetics for an appointment but want to know more about the process, we’re here to tell you exactly what to expect.
Our client care and satisfaction is one of our top priorities. We like to think that this is one of the things that stands us out from the crowd.
It’s not uncommon to go to an aesthetics clinic and be in and out of your appointment within 20 minutes, be ushered onto the bed before you’ve even had a chance to take your coat off and have someone coming at you with a needle before you’ve been able to ask any questions.
That’s not how we like to do it.
From the minute you walk through our door, we try to make you feel as comfortable and as at ease as possible. You will be greeted by one our of lovely receptionists who will offer you a drink and will bring it over to you whilst you relax in our homely waiting area. *cosy blankets available upon request!
If it’s your first appointment with us, you’ll be handed a consultation form to fill out whilst you’re in the waiting area. Amanda will then go through this in full detail with you.
Amanda will take a detailed medical history from you so that she can make sure she is safe in the decision to go ahead with any treatment. If there is anything she feels would be a risk, she will let you know at this point and won’t go ahead with the treatment. We want you to be as safe as possible.
Amanda will then discuss with you what your concerns are and what sort of result you are looking for. Whilst it’s impossible for us to see the results you want in your head (although with self-driving cars and the likes, it might be possible soon!), it’s important that yourself and Amanda have a similar idea so that you are both on the same page in terms of expectations.
If Amanda feels that the treatment won’t give you the results you want, she will explain this to you.
Similarly, if Amanda feels that you don’t need a treatment doing and the results wouldn’t be desirable- she will tell you. Unlike a lot of other clinics, we’re not just in it for the money.
We don’t just pump fillers and toxin into clients for a quick buck. We make sure this treatment is suitable for you and your needs.
Once the expectations and results have been discussed, Amanda will talk you through the treatment process along with any side effects and risks. She will explain how she will carry out the treatment and if you have any questions at any time she will answer them for you.
Amanda will also tell you how much the treatment will cost and we will never go ahead with a treatment until a price has been agreed. She will also talk to you about our payment plans if this is something you are interested in.
If you are happy with the consultation and the treatment plan, it may be possible to have the treatment done at the appointment. Amanda will go through a consent form with you and explain what you are signing for before we get you onto the couch.
Amanda will then get started with the treatment.
Firstly, she will take some before photos. These are just for your client records and must be taken with every client. They will not be shared with anybody unless you want to share them on our social media.
Amanda will take her time with the treatment and explain to you what she is doing. She will also keep checking throughout the treatment that you are okay.
Once the treatment has been done, Amanda will take after photos for you and compare them with the before photos. If you are having a Botox treatment, the after photos are done at your review once the Botox has had an effect.
Amanda will then make sure you are happy with your results and give you any advice in terms of aftercare. Review appointments are offered as standard to any client having Botox and any client having fillers can book one if they wish.
You may want to wait until your results have settled down to see whether or not you will need a review. If you feel you do, you can give the clinic a call to book this review.
We never charge you for a review appointment.
You will then be taken out to our receptionist who will process your payment or set up your payment plan if you have chosen this option. Our receptionists will also advise you to ring if you have any problems or questions about your treatment.
Unlike a lot of clinics, we spend a lot of time with clients explaining everything in detail. This means our appointments are generally much longer than other places- but it’s important to us that you understand the process fully and have the chance to ask questions throughout.
We pride ourselves on our top-notch customer service to go hand in hand with our top-notch results.
